1st two years would be a very team friendly average wise vs the cap. The only bad year contract wise would be the third but by then you could have almost all the guaranteed money paid and cut him or re do contract if needed. In short 2 good years and 1 bad one as far as cap hit goes.

I know backloading is common but those last three years are killers. We will have to figure out how to pay Jordan, Hicks, Vacarro, and Lewis during that phase of Jimmy's contract.

JG wouldn't accept that deal. Too much non guaranteed money back loaded. He would basically have to play lights out for the saints next two years to not force a renegotiation or cut him after year 2. He'll probably command around 20 million signing bonus over 6 years
