I don't foam, nor am I easily disoriented.

I can't tell BHP how to feel about something. I can only tell him how I feel about something. Isn't that the whole point of this discussion?

I'd like to be clear that I hold no ill feeling for those that think differently than me.

I get frustrated by all the "feelings are hurt" stuff. I despise FAUX outrage.

But, the fact that you honestly feel something I do not does not affect my thoughts about you in any way.

Now, my dad taught me that I am free to be offended or have my feelings hurt at will...but, it does not compel anyone to do a DAMNED thing about it. I am happy that I learned that lesson early. I find that it is a very comfortable life-view to not be offended very easily.
