There's no traffic.
Living in DFW, I got used to traffic and commutes. 15-45 minutes in a car to go shopping, eat, zoo, entertainment, etc. one hour to get to work. It was just a part of life.
Being back here (live in Sulphur) I live a mile from work and crossing the bridge to go to Lake Charles is just "too far"
frick your train

If I had to draw a line it would be around jennings...other line would run through Deridder and they'd intersect in Oakdale

Mamou Mardi Gras > any other Mardi Gras

Mamou would be about 3 miles from that boundary. Judgment call IMO.

You can still go to public high schools and get a good education (if you live in SLC or Moss Bluff/Sulphur).
