ask around. You'll see

It's not as cut and dry as I phrased it. but that is a well known narrative of the history of both clubs around BR.

Well if I ask around I'll probably find a few morons who tell me the moon is made out of cheese too.

I was around when CCLA and Santa Maria were being developed. They were built because Baton Rouge had shitty golf courses and people wanted a better place. Santa Maria was slightly behind and in a bad market among other things.

BRCC is sherwood without the ditch. A social club. They spruced it up a little but it's limited.

It's true that there is a frick ton of new money at CCLA and the old money is at BRCC. The truth in your statement stops there.

I'd say ccl was old money but younger in age when it formed.. They were being pushed around by the old timers at brcc. Santa Maria was the new money and unfortunately went belly up.
