It is a schedule III drug, so you are good for 180 days from the date written on the prescription.

If it was a schedule II drug, then it is good for 30 days from the date written on the prescription.

WRONG (in La)

All Schedule 2-5 scripts are good for 6 months from the date written in Louisiana.

All non-schedule prescriptions expire one year from the date written.
