I had the same problem. I put off getting one BECAUSE of that. I didn't know where to start and didn't want to go through the bullshyt and red tape I figured would accompany it. It ended up not being bad at all.

I started by call DA's office in Lake Charles- where it happened.

I didn't remember if it was a arrest by the Sherif's Dep't arrest or City Police. They pointed me where I needed to go.


EDIT: And I called ahead. Did everything on the phone but you must pick it up, they don't mail.
