Coach Jones has the highest winning percentage of any coach at LSU since 1945.

he needs to swollow his pride and get some help with his defensive coaching

My point is that most good coaches win more than 50% of their games before getting hired onto what could be a top 50 job.

It's been a really bad stretch these last few games. But we played good defense last year and have had stretches of very good defense this year. I think people need to take a step back and just understand that this team is wildly inconsistent, but not necessarily an indictment on Coach Jones or the future of our program.

Not sure what to make of his stats when I see the kind of inconsistency his teams at LSU seem to put out on the court every year.

UNT basketball has been around since 1916. They have won their conference 3 times TOTAL. Two of which were under Coach Jones. They went to the NCAA Tournament 3 times TOTAL. Two of which were under Coach Jones.
He continuously got good talent to a school with zero history and performed well for UNT. You need to get a grip. Winning 50% at UNT is solid. Big programs go play the UNT's during OOC so they don't have an inflated % like big conference teams.

Well his last 6 years at NT he had a 66.14% winning percentage. It's not like his teams were consistently .500

Got a buddy in the sports admin department at UNT...we played college ball together and I asked him about Jones's teams at North Texas and he said "we had to outscore everybody...no defense." Take that for what it's worth bro.

you can't just get rid of 4 years of resume. The words consistency and winning percentage should be used in the same sentence
