Go read the Bill Simmons piece he did on Bill Russell a while back. Simmons got to go to Russell's house and interview him. It was sort of depressing if I recall correctly.

Boston has had some great LSU players play there.

Pistol Pete was amazing watching. Shaq and of course Kevin Faulk.
My brother told me Shaq was always very friendly and signing autographs everywhere he went.
He even conducted the Boston Pops once. I didn't know he studied music at LSU :-)
