Who was he talking about may make a decision soon that he was trying to get to LSU and said LSU was after him too. Couldn't quite hear that part.

I don't recall a single presser with one of these commits in which the commit didn't say he would be spending "the next 3 to 4 years" at LSU. They all think that way, which tells me they all think they have NFL talent and that LSU will develop that and showcase it. Couple that with what Chief said a few years back that was along the lines of: "If you recruit right, your recruits won't be here for four years," and I think you start to understand that the culture at LSU is one in which it is about preparing for the NFL, not staying for 4 years.
