I played freshman, sophomore, and junior year. I showed up to tryouts in red spikes my freshman year. Our class was pretty bad compared to our predecessors 
I think I know who you are though- only recall one guy playing basketball from your class.

Dang, I wish I would have been there to see Doug's face when you wore red cleats. I hate that I didn't do tryouts because I missed a lot of good stories while playing basketball.
I regret not knowing more of your class. Did we know each other? Was I nice to you? You didn't happen to have an older brother on varsity did you?I tried to be a nice guy to the younger guys but I wasn't always nice while in a competitive environment.
