Tincture of time usually works and it's cheap.

Go get a steroid shot with a vitaminB chaser....you'll feel better in about 30 minutes.. Really.

pseudoephedrine for nasal congestion
diphenhydramine for rhinitis
dextromethorphan for cough
guaifenesin for chest/throat congestion

Netti-pot for nasal/sinus congestion. Swear by it. It's gross but it gets the mucus/flesh out

Alka Seltzer cold & flu. That stuff is a great otc med that I highly recommend for any ache, pain, sinus issue, fever, etc.

Eta: Emergen-C is pretty good too. Anytime I feel a cold coming on I take these 2 together and I've had great results.

Theraflu is still around, I believe.

But you need to look through everything in the pharmacy aisle carefully and get something that exactly matches your symptoms. Last cold I had was very difficult to shake. Finally got rid of it with Robitussin.
