I am currently looking to purchase a 3 wood in 'average' condition from Callaway preowned for $62 after shipping but I found the same club at global golf in 'good' condition for $42.
Have you had any experiences with Global golf that would make you pay the extra for a Callaway pre-owned club? vice versa?

Globalgolf is a legit seller - huge on Ebay as well.
What is the description of "good"?

I've found Callaway preowned is very conservative in their club assessments FWIW

Description of Good is
So it appears that GG isn't a bad choice. I mean $20 is a huge difference.

Clubs in Good Condition have been played frequently. All clubs in Good Condition are in 100% playable condition, as all of the markings will be purely cosmetic blemishes, and in no way will affect performance. This is the perfect option for the player looking for more bang for the buck. Among the wear that you may see on clubs in Good Condition: Moderate face and sole wear; sky-marks, paint chips, paint blemishes, and scratches on the crown; dings and nicks on the crown and/or around the edges of the head; shaft wear.

I don't think you could go wrong either way - both will be playable.
"Average" on Callawaypreowned is the bottom of the scale, so I imagine the condition would be comparable.

Budgetgolf.com and
Gppgolf.com are also good for cheap stuff.

Thanks for the additional sites. I will look at them as well as the used clubs at capital golf on siegen.
On the capital golf note, it always seems like that place is closed down.

Just stay away from eBay, bunch of fake stuff there still.

3balls is another good used club option
They sell quite a bit on eBay also though

It just depends on the seller - the big stores are pretty safe

If you really suck good condition is fine. Expect some paint chips and probably a pop up mark

You can also trade in to GG to offset cost. Most of the time they'll give you 130% of PGA.com value.
