Serious question. That would have to devastate an already poor area. But since it's majority white I'm sure he don't give shite.
Seeing how most of our energy is coal fired plants, it would be a disaster. Also, most of the issues from CCBs (coal combustion by-products) has came from Gov plants (TVA, etc.)

the area circled in brown would be top areas to live,(new river valley, eastern TN, Western NC), the area circled in the tannish color is where i grew up and where our camp is located, it borders right on Jefferson national forest, so it is is 400+ acres of prime hunting/fishing

What will happen to that area when Obama shuts down the coal mines?
what do you mean,"when"?
EPA/feral regulation has shut down close to 3/4 the of all mines within 100 miles
when i say shut down, i mean they can't afford to stay in business..
Obama/EPA won't shut them down, they just tax/regulates them to hell

There are a lot of laws and regulations for collecting ginseng. These shows on tv are bullshite. I'm sure you can make SOME money, but there "ain't nobody" gettin' rich doing it.

wow, i gotta prepare myself to explain this, let me give it a stab though
1. People around grew up with nothing, so what what do you take away from people that have nothing?
i'll have to elaborate on this later, got to much going on at work

let me say this.. i never had a racist bone in my body till i moved to La/BR and lived for 10+ years, my best friend is black, a lot of my best friends growing up we're/are black
it is just a different culture, the "thuggin' it and lovin' it", culture doesn't exist up here, yeah.. they listen to rap and follow fashion trends, but they are still good ol' boys
my best friend passed up a full ride academic scholarship to UVA to go to Afghanistan,(this was right after 9/11 our senior year of high school) he always wanted to be a Marine.. talked about it since we we're kids
came home, became a cop, went to school, made detective and coaches football/wrestling when he isn't doing that
has has never done drugs, tobacco before in his life, didn't drink a sip of booze till he was 24
his only weakness is Wendy's chili.. loves it
after moving to BR i was shocked about how racist people we're, after having a group of thugs try to kick down my front door the night i moved into my apt right off cmapus the first night i was done there alone.. i soon understood
i had led a sheltered life and had to adapt quickly and in doing so became racist, being racist has probably saved my life and a couple others

you are not racist...you are "AWARE"
there is a big difference of being educated and making some pre judgement calls and being a racist
