Yeah, but Louisiana offers special opportunities not found in a lot of places.

Was talking a co-worker into Baton Rouge who'd never been this way before; he was on I-10 and I asked him where he was. Told me he'd just passed the exit for (literal pronunciation here): Gross-ee Tee-Tee

Nola has it's quirks. We tend to have our own pronociations of common words. Like Burgundy being Bur - GUN - D

I was on Foucher today and my gps said "turn on foosher street. Not For-shay.
