I guess I should have specified "recently". Most of these kids don't know/care about a team that hasn't been good in the last 5 years. UCLA's 2 season under Mora, they were 9-5 and then 10-3. In 2 years under Freeze, Ole Miss is 7-6 and 8-5.
Ole Miss would need a miracle to win the division. UCLA barely missed their conference championship game, and will be considered a top 2-3 team in the PAC-10 for the foreseeable future. Ole Miss had it's 2nd best season in the last 11 years and still finished 6th in the WEST.

However, all things are not equal here. UCLA plays who, exactly? Much as I hate Ole Must, they actually play a schedule with real football players week in and week out. compare their schedules when you compare their records. 'Bout the same.
