Probably the beer bottle lodged underneath the accelerator peddle.
A lot of people say fuel filter, but I've never run into a fuel filter related problem. If it was me I'd first give it a full tuneup, since it's probably past due. Plugs, air filter, fuel filter etc. Also take off the intake and clean out the throttle body. After that's all done I'd see if I still had a problem.

yeah. I just hate to spend all that money and it not do shite to fix my problem.
