A place that I would kill for having in BR as an alternative to all of the other

places in it. A genuine Eastern European/German Jewish deli that does almost every menu item in the house themselves. People would come to eat at the trough of such a place in no time at all. The last one died when the elder Holocaust survivors retired because of their age.

A passibly decent Reuben is hard to find. Sigmunds was on Florida at Foster by the McDonalds then. That was a religious experience when I ate my first one with the help of a young Jewish girl for an advisor. It was a be still my heart deal. There is close to 300K people in BR to attract from as an audience, but we are hooked on chained shite.

Real deli
Decent bbq
Know it would be niche, but good cuban food, perhaps mix in some puerto rican, is hard to beat

Great BBQ! We need a family from Austin and a family from Memphis to move to BR and open up two BBQ joints!
