So their recruits should get more praise, even if it's not merited, because they win? Okay then where does it stop?

I guess they should get calls their way (they do already in some people's opinion), the NCAA looking away from violations, and media love that is a larger advantage than anyone wants to admit?

Shouldn't be able to earn that.

They get more praise because they are evaluated by Saban, who is considered to be the best coach in college football. He just so happens to put a ton of players in the league as high round picks and just so happens to win more football games than anyone else. When you have a pedigree of winning, the services are going to pay attention. Moreover, LSU commits have received bumps in the past as well after committing. The precepts apply there too.

Anybody remember the Fab Five, the top RB's from Five States that all chose LSU? Johnson (AL) Johnson (TX), Butler (LA), Moore (MS), Toomer (GA). First play of the A&M game, Robert Johnson goes 75 yards and we're all thinking this is going to be awesome! Long story short, Robert J wound up at UAB, J Johnson wound up at Grambling, Moore wound up at Ole Myth, leaving Toomer and Butler, with only Toomer remaining a RB. Good, but not great careers. Point being, this is not an exact science. Some live up to the Stars, some don't, EVERY class. I'm ecstatic with the kids we've got coming in, but understand that some will disappoint and some will exceed expectations. I REALLY like the character of this group, so I think they'll make us proud no matter what.

Yes, is the short answer.

The recruiting services can't evaluate all these kids. They pretend too, but the manpower that goes into evaluating these kids comes mainly from the teams' staffs. If a team, that typically signs nothing but great prospects, offers a three star, the service will assume they have the kid underrated. So, yes, there is, and should be, a Bama bounce. And there is an LSU bounce; it's just not quite as big. But it's bigger than the Florida bounce.
