They were both thin shot-blockers who got the majority of their points in sort-of garbage shot or transition situations but with a little bit of a jump shot here or there. they will naturally be compared.
Mickey is averaging more minutes than Thomas did, but per minute Thomas has more points and most other stats. He had a pretty big edge in FG% as well.
Mickey plays more minutes. Has a bit higher FT%.
Tyrus got to the line more, had a higher block %, higher STL %, lower TO %.
Biggest difference is rebounding, TT was a much better one.

This lists Tyrus has 1" taller, I'm thinking his wingspan is even larger.
