I come to my OB brethren in seek of wise guidance (AR15 BUILD)

I am building my first AR. Here's my list of parts:
PSA "Stealth" stripped lower receiver
PSA Classic LPK
BCM 16" M4 (SOCOM) upper receiver group
BCM Bolt Carrier Group (MPI) - Auto
BCMGUNFIGHTER ambidextrous charging handle
KNS anti-rotational pinset
I assembled the lower last night, after driving a punch into a roll pin, having the detent shoot out about a dozen times, losing said detent pin, finding said detent pin, etc.
So I have a complete lower, and my upper with out a rail on it.
I want to install this rail on my upper DD AR15 Lite Rail 10.0
Here's the upper as well for reference to the FSB/barrel nut/delta ring LINK
Here's where I need your suggestions/help:
I have not tried to remove the FSB/barrel nut/delta ring yet. I have heard that it is very difficult to remove these parts on a BCM upper.
I was told to take it to Jim's and get them to do it. I'd really like to go through the process myself, but I went by there today anyway to inquire. They told me that it would take at least a month. I said frick that. I don't want to wait a damn month. I think I can do it.
WWYD in my situation?
Do you really have to "burn"/grind these off? Is it really impossible to drive out the pins and torque the nut off?
For your assistance:

The hardest part will be removing the front site/gas block. You will have to grind the pin on it off. Get on youtube and find a video on it.
