Since you seem to be in the know, do you think Entergy is cut back on their maintenance program alot in the last 5 to 10 years?

Someone that I know who did pole surveys for a year or so in the area said the poles were in shitty shape all over the place and there were a ton of trees grown all into the lines.
A few people told my friend that Entergy plays a game with this issue because they know when big storms come through, they will get funding in one form or another (insurance or gov.) to fix things.

Not sure I believe all of that, but seems plausible.
