Because she keeps losing. In 2008, Fiorina served as an advisor to unsuccessful Republican presidential candidate John McCain. In 2010, Fiorina waged an unsuccessful challenge against incumbent Democrat Barbara Boxer of California in a 2010 Senate election.
She had a primetime spot in the 2008 convention.
She lives in fricking California?
Stop acting like she isn't qualified and just some loser. She was a CEO of a Fortune 500 Company.

She is on a terrible losing streak at the moment to be fair. 86'ed at HP, 86'ed in her bid for Senate against Boxer. She's a great orator though - heard her speak twice at conferences.
Q: Why would John McCain pull her in as an advisor to his campaign? I never understood why politicians seem to think that business people would be a good strategy.
Am I off base in thinking this?
