So true. Hard to top lines like "I met a gin soaked bar room queen in Memphis" and "I was born in a crossfire hurricane."

Also the opening line to Freebird has to be included - "If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me?" Even more poignant in hindsight.

A few others:
"Goodbye Norma Jean, though I never knew you at all"
"On a dark desert highway, cool wind in my hair, warm smell of collitas rising up through the air."
