Not worth it. Place is tiny... Don't know how they make it look so big and none of the people on the show will be there.

What I've been told as well.

Either it is totally scripted or the majority of the people selling stuff are the worst at negotiating and desperate as hell for.cash. Which most people selling something to a pawn shop are desperate as hell anyway.

If I was going to sell something to them, I would go visit their "experts" first before going in there and try to sell it to them first or at the very least find out what it is worth.

If they can't double their money from the retail estimate they are given, they aren't buying it. I love how they throw in the occasional person who's asking less than what the expert says and they end up giving the person more than his original asking price to make it seem like they are the sleezey frickers they are.

Experts values item at $5k retail, seller gets $1k, Rick prices it for $8k.

They use the same tired old lines on everyone who comes in selling something.

It is still better than Cajun Pawn Stars where Big Daddy just brings in local people he knows that have an "interesting", use that term loosely, item, that they have no intention of selling.
