yes, getting Jamal Adams on Jan 2nd was the result of a great 3-week run with him. There would have been a 4for4 focus on Jan 2nd otherwise. He was a bigger get than Hootie Jones. Yet, folks always cry over the one that got away. Net effect of that transaction was a big plus for LSU.
Only ones I'm disappointed with us not getting were CamRob (yes, long-time Bama fondler, but a real need position) and Tony Brown.
But, now I'm over Brown, too. I doubt he ever becomes a big-time contributor at Bama. Be it due to off the field issues, track interests, or that freaking recurring shoulder problem.
GW3 and that whole family are a collective head case.
Speedy would have been a plus in the return game for us, but he got enamored with what Sumlin was shoveling and no hard feelings.
