Do I know this for sure? No, because I was not in the room. But I know who was. I don't expect a statement like this to go over well on this board and I have no way to prove it. It's true that Speedy was pretty "non committal" about his intent but that's to the general public. The person in the room that overheard the conversation between Speedy and Miles and Willis and Miles is about as solid as it gets. If he tells me something it's the gospel and is good enough for me. Again, I have no expectation for anyone to believe it but I was asked a few posts back so there it is. That's a good point about if a kid flipped and read this what it could do to our chances of landing said recruit. I can assure you 100% that the staff knows what these guys are about and the "damage" has already been done. Some bridges would need rebuilding.

First, thank you for the response. Second, I've imagined recruiting far more tactical than it would seem on the surface. It's war. It's money. Millions are at stake. To believe that the gloves do not come off is juvenile. The more I observe...I'd honestly be astonished if disinformation and subterfuge were not part of the game.
