Question.....were the students in the lower section attractive/cool/not nerdy enough for everyone (other students that don't come bc of this said reason)??

Judging by that pic, that group is pretty representative of the group you usually see sitting down there.
Pan back and I'm sure more polos, khakis, and north faces would come into frame.
