Best strategy:
Every April, deposit onto a savings account the money you'd pay to buy season tickets. Including TAF "donation". Then spend as much as necessary to buy the best available seat for each game from a ticket board on line or outside the stadium. You'll have better seats than you could get through LSU/TAF, and after 20 years you'll have enough money to put your kids ( or grandkids, or both) through college.

yes, whatever you do, do NOT give any $$$ to LSU that is for suckers, let them pay the $$ so us real fans can enjoy it for less...really??? come on, wether you can afford $100 per year or $100,000, like every other D1 prgram who wins, it costs $$$. And if "you have been there done that" good for you, move on as you are better than everyone else and DESREVE to only pay for games that you think are good games...you are better than those of us who pay full prcie to TAF and are dumb enough ot think it helps the program and the unviersoity we love... we bow to you oh great ones...I pay about 10% of my after tax dollars every year to be able to enjoy the sports I support at LSU and have been doing this for 10+ years. I am glad to be able to give back to something that has given me so much enjoyment and gave me an education where I can make enough money to give some back....yes I am preaching, but these "been there done that, hate the easy game, i buy all mine outside the stadium" people get under my skin...by the way, feel free to drop by a smaller sport and buy a ticket or two now and then, belevie me you son/daughter etc would enjoy a gym meet ($10 for two tickets) or volleyball (free most times) or tennis (free). Maybe even break down and buy a $3 coke...
