I don't get that. Using my thumbs on either side, I can type pretty fast on my tablet.
Holding a full sized tablet, a man with normal sized hands can touch their thumbs together.

I have very large hands; finger strength or reach isn't the issue. The spacing for thumb typing is not very efficient, to me. I find phone-sized keyboards to be best for two appendages
