I am referring to someone else having said that if you oppose abortion rights and are anti-gay, then you have no place in this country. I am not presenting, as my stance, that if you oppose abortion rights and are anti-gay, then you have no place in this country.

There are countless examples in recent history of politicians and civilians alike saying, "If you don't like ______ in the Constitution, maybe you need to leave this country." It's silly rhetoric I suppose, but it isn't anything near the heresy that the people in this thread are pretending it to be, and CITWTT's taking my quote out of context is an example of the collective overreaction.

CITWTT took my quote out of context and attributed my dependent clause referencing Cuomo's take and attributed Cuomo's opinion to me, and he did so unfairly. Here was his quote of me:

Yes, I typed these very words in reference to something that someone else said. I in no way presented it as my opinion.
