Worse now is that you can't get it without turbos either. That blows my mind. I guess it helps mpg and 0-60 times, but who wants turbo lag and nonlinear power? Since people buy cars purely on stats, I guess this is what you get.

As an owner of a N54 335i (twin turbo), there is surprisingly little to any turbo lag. The power is also pretty linear.
