It's not that he threw eggs. I think they said that would normally be a misdemeanor. But the eggs did $20000 worth of damage to the house. Meaning the owner is claiming this is the amount of money it would take to repaint, restain etc the house. And it could be true if the house he egged was expensive enough. That stuff does not just come off by wiping it off. Any how, that made it turn into a felony. And gave the cops the right to search Justin's house. And he could be screwed if they find anything else, like drugs weapons etc.
