Sorry man, but Brossette is meeting with Notre Dame soon. We're trying to line something up as well.

If UCLA starts pulling talent from LA, then you will have the entire SEC tipping their collective caps. You would be the only school to figure out how to do that in the entire country.

Well, 95% of football recruits are polite and at least listen to when respected college coaches want to come and talk to them - doesn't mean they actually give a shite.

Im almost positive Kenny Young will be at UCLA. Dupre will make his fourth visit to UCLA with Young on the 31st. McGraw is coming and we think hes ours. And now Gochaux is also coming and there are rumors swirling about him.

Oh he can take his visits and all that. I would too.

But Brossette is going to LSU. If you were familiar with the situation, you would know why.

And good for UCLA line something up. Moras doing work down here... hes visiting 4 of the best players that are still not committed. Man hes doing work. Nothing gonna change...

Also why are you posting on here? Just curious.

dude, why do people from other boards with 9 posts come and troll this board. We need to be like tidefans and orangebloods and lay the ban hammer down on more of these shite stirrers.

UCLA is quite the good trip to make.

LSU has it happen each year for big games in TS. Kids get 5 officials and they make the most out of them.

Been reading about the LA guys on our insider boards and a friend is close to the staff.

Regarding Brossette-I just know we are interested and that he said he is keeping his options open. I don't know his situation at all. Whats his deal?

While I think you land a nice haul this class (not sure who though), Brossette and Guice are far from West Coast bound. Both live within 20 minutes of LSUs campus, not to mention Brossette plays ball with Miles son. On top of that, both seem to like the idea of playing close to family and neither seems too interested in leaving the SEC, if they even leave BR.

I agree. whats different this year is that we are good again, Kenny Young appears genuinely interested, and Dupre is making his fourth visit. We feel good about the situation.

Im not going to argue with you, but something does seem to be shifting. Our staff wouldn't be putting this much time into this if we didn't think we were in the mix. Also, LSU seems to be losing several commits to out of state schools for the first time in awhile.

Out of State schools in the SEC. Not too many venturing out west. Mora is smart and knows where a lot of great talent resides, but talking with a kid or even hosting them for a visit is far from signing them and keeping them.

Good for you... what does that have to do with anything...

So you have no idea about anything with Brossette.... but you said yall are big and in play with him, yet you have no clue.

Dude, its not just UCLA that are putting in time with Young and Dupre, etc. Most big schools in the country and on them extremely hard, due to the fact that they are some of the biggest recruits still available.

And again, why are you posting on an LSU recruiting board?

Landing the occasional guy makes sense. However, you sound like you expect a pipeline to develop to UCLA. Sorry - I'll believe that when I see it.

This is what we are trying to change. Kenny Young and Dupre's interest in us may help change this narrative. I guess We'll see.
