I got that from tramadol. Then again...I don't take pain pills on a regular basis either so it's not like I have the tolerance of someone who takes lots of pain pills so needs stronger stuff for relief.

Tramadol is basically an opioid. It's a muscle relaxer that affects the same section of the brain as stronger opioids. It's synthesized instead of natural and if you take more that 400 mg in a day you can potentially get seizures. Same if you have been on it for months and stop.

I have worked in a suboxone clinic and have been taking tramadol for right at a year. Lot of people abused tramadol like they do other opioids. I feel similar to about 20 mg of norco when I take 200-250 mg of tramadol.

It has no indication for being used as a muscle relaxer that I have ever seen. Where have you seen this?

I just couldn't believe my doctor(who knows I'm a nurse at a hospital) prescribed me those and specifically said "these aren't narcotic so you can take these at work".

I've never taken them at work to clarify.
