The best redemption rates are all transfers anyway, which will not be affected if you downgrade to the CSP
I don't really look at the 1.5 vs the 1.3 as a factor when weighing the CSR vs the CSP because I have only used the portal for booking once, and don't really plan to again.

I fly a lot more than I use hotels. What's the best airline transfer?
Also I would think another company would jump at this exodus opportunity and offer a nice sign up bonus somewhere
