Supposedly the new policy started Apr 1.
I just went to my neighborhood CVS at lunch. Got a pack of gum and 1 VR. Scanned it, slid my card, signed for it and bam. Denied
. It was letting me pay for the gum, but left a balance of $503.95 for the VR. 
The nice little lady had probably sold me 30 VRs and she said, "you musta run outta money".
I said I don't think that's the problem, so she called the manager over and he didn't know why it wouldn't take it either. I played dumb. I just said it's fine, I'll just take the gum.
She insisted that I should be able to pay with debicks, but I said it's fine, I'll just have the gum.

Looks like the rollout hit the computers timely then. I was hoping that by the nature of Louisiana, we'd somehow get past today with everything still working.
