Smart phone with the best camera

I'm looking for the most photography centric smart phone out there.
My coworker has a Lumia 1020 Windows Phone, which based on what I've read has a really good camera.
Anybody have any thoughts on other great smart phone cameras??

I have the S4 and the camera takes very high quality pictures.

I think you answered your own question.

Really any of the high-end Lumia phones are basically in a class of their own. I have a 920 and love it. My brother has a 1020 and the camera on that thing is ridiculous for a phone.

Yeah my cousin got that one for when she had her baby but went back to iPhone because she didn't like it

I think I might give the 1020 a try. I just can't seem to get out of my mind all the crappy iPhone pictures my sister has sent over the years. I've been an Android user in the past, and wasn't impressed, just a bad copy of an iPhone.

Lost any semblance of credibility.

All of the high end phones have great cameras.
Buying a phone just for the camera is retarded.
Get the smart phone you want and just buy a camera if you are that intensely interested in photography.

We've got the high end camera, but would like the phone camera photos that we take to be less of a drop off.

Sorry you didn't like the experience I had.
OK, maybe it's not an exact copy of the iPhone

"in the past" here clearly means not within the past year or two.

I love my iPhone, and it's nothing close to a cutting edge smartphone. I also have "high end cameras"
Nonetheless, there's very little "drop off" in quality for a camera phone and a DSLR for any ordinary photo, and I primarily use my iPhone...just not when I have specific expectations that exceed the phone's ability.
