Someone has posted this over on the Rant and the thought was that it may be only for a percentage. I'd think they'd have a hard time holding him accountable for >$30 million in upgrades.

If Franklin was to leave Vanderbilt, the team that brings him on board would be forced to pay off the remainder of the project
But if we are speculating, I would guess that Vandy never approves this project without substantial fundraising before ever getting started. So my guess is that PSU would be on the hook for no more than half of the value of the project.
