Anyone that is in prison now in Colorado for marijuana possession surely were in possession of more than is now legal (up to 1 ounce, I believe). No one goes to prison for possessing less than an ounce even here in Mississippi. I suspect those in prison that broke the old Co law would have broken the new law too. So, they get to stay in jail.
So which law do we follow? Federal or State?
