One thing to keep an eye on is the finances surrounding this hire. Can LSU really afford to go out and hire a top-notch OL coach? Cameron's salary will basically double next year, and Adam Henry was rumored to be eyeing a return to the NFL. I'm sure a nice pay raise could keep him here.

No LSU athletics cannot afford the cost of top notch OL coach, but can it afford not to?
LSU loses millions by not making good bowl games.
Stud was not helping recruiting and his OL hasn't prospered or had much success moving to the NFL. It's time for a change.

Maybe another back-end heavy contract like Cameron's for a coach who will still see residuals from a former NFL gig? Also, Stud was drawing a pretty hefty check, was he not?
