I started TOS but could not get very far. I am going to attempt it again one day.

DS9 is #2 in my book of scifi. The only scifi series for me that surpasses it is B5, which is somewhat ironic given their 'similarties' and issues discussed by you and others earlier in the thread.

I've seen at least some of every series but I will rank only those I've watched all of or most of:

1. DS9
2. TNG
3. Enterprise

TOS/Voyager would be last on my list but I can't give them a proper critique due to lack of viewing.

Enterprise was ok for me. It probably seemed better than it was because I was just thirsty for anything ST at the time.

What everyone needs to take from this thread is this: B5 > *.

While I don't completely agree with this - I am considering starting a B5 versus Voyager (not a competition, but a comparison/contrast) discussion - but I don't have the energy to sustain such a thread on my own until I finish the survey of TOS - we just started Season 2 - thus far, only Master has checked back in - but I hope it picks up.

TOS isn't something you can binge watch like shows of today. Each episode is a stand alone that you can watch pretty much in any order and enjoy. Avoid Spock's Brain.
