SEC Network starts next year. ESPN knows where their bread is buttered

Yes i know this. But you hear it on the radio, and the comments after the game. The talk about the SEC finally going down. And the conference not as strong blah blah. What i meant overall is if ESPN and others keep up with this mantra. Kids that are 17 or so, are very impressionable. And they will slowly migrate to schools from other conferences. And if you do not think that hurts LSU as a whole. It will. One of the great things we have been able to do is to recruit kids to come play for the SEC. We do not need the national media dissing the conference. That is all i meant.

It should be slightly a good thing for LSU. FSU doesn't recruit Louisiana that well ,but we can recruit the smaller state of Alabama with 2 SEC powerhouses much better. So Alabama and Auburn would be slightly weakened by a resurging FSU and help LSU in conference games.

Also, you beating Alabama and Auburn helps FSU out too.

I'm blown away by the complete lack of awareness of what FSU being a championship school means to LSU.

We recruit in the state of FL very effectively and rely on the pipeline for a good bit of players. Having any school from FL being title contenders....directly affects our ability to go in the state and get kids to come west and play for LSU.

Auburn winning or losing is completely insignificant...FSU winning is very significant.
