I love mine. We have two and would never go back. Because mine are separated I don't have to wait long for water at all, no more then with a tank. Gas is cheap too.
And to ever said it is taking 5 minutes or more for the water to warm up, you need to have it serviced because thats not normal

Exactly. I checks my kitchen sink that takes the longest. Under a min it was warm and under 2 was almost too hot to keep my hand there.
Mine is a Rinnai. Not sure what is best or where they rank...7 years and counting with only the gas orifice issue and that's not because the brand.
