I think he had at least one black coach while he owned the Vikings. He can not like the Strong hire and not be a racist. He is mad that he was not involved in the process.

Right. He bought the Vikings in 98 where Dennis Green had been head coach for 6 years. Here was Green's record while Red was the owner:

MIN 1998 15 1 0 .938 1st in NFC Central 1 1 .500 Lost to Atlanta Falcons in NFC Championship Game.
MIN 1999 10 6 0 .625 2nd in NFC Central 1 1 .500 Lost to St. Louis Rams in NFC Divisional Game.
MIN 2000 11 5 0 .688 1st in NFC Central 1 1 .500 Lost to New York Giants in NFC Championship Game.
MIN 2001* 5 10 0 .333 4th in NFC Central – – – –
So one losing season after three of the most successful years in the NFC and he fires him.

The man loves black folk!

Every time I read something like this I just laugh and laugh. So because he drafted black players (he has to) and hired a black coach (he has to at some point) he is not racist?

Since when do racist not hire blacks anyways? Racists are good with blacks working the labor areas, what they aren't good with is blacks managing or in highest positions of authority.

He obviously has a problem with a very qualified black man managing/in the highest authority position. To the point he insults the man by saying he is more qualified to be a position coach, when the man has been a successful coordinator on two championship teams.
