Will he have a chance to compete for the QB job in the spring? Or is it Anthony J 100%?

There is always a QB competition. AJ will be the starter though.

Harris appears to have a stronger arm, and may be a bit more athletic overall. Both seem to have the requisite leadership qualities to be a premiere QB.

I do expect Harris to compete for the starting position.

Hopefully he can come in and compete for the job. If nothing else that will make AJ better.

Harris showed at the UA he has a live arm but not very accurate. Give him at least a year of adding weight and practice.

Brandon Harris is coming here to compete for the job next year. So is Rettig and Rivers.

AJ doesnt have anything locked up. Based on how they both play, Harris may take a RS next year, but it wouldnt shock me to see Harris win the job.

I'm in Bossier and we get a lot of coverage of Brandon. He is going into spring practice with the goal of winning the starting job. He's exceptionally bright and one thing you didn't see in the UA game was his running ability. He averaged about 10 yards per rush.

I don't know if he'll start the first game but I would be shocked if he's red shirted.

Brandon has incredible upside. Great athlete, cannon arm, leadership skills, everything you could want.

But right how he's still raw. He needs to put on weight, he needs to improve ball security, he needs to stay in the pocket longer before bailing.

Hes very rough around the edges. A redshirt year would do him a lot of good

Its AJs job to lose.

He'll give AJ a great competition in spring and the summer.
