I went hiking in Alaska last month and it was -5 in the mountains, but there was no wind and it was sunny. I got hot and took off my jacket, the more active you are and the more you move around and expend energy you generate body heat and stay warm

When you live north for a long time, you get use to it. Living by a lake in cities like: Cleveland, Chicago, Detroit, Duluth make it worst.
