Sorry. You said this

but I dont wanna go and spend another 5-6 days up there and not even see anything.

and I took it to mean you dont want to go if you arent going to see deer. I get what you are saying now.

What is the rut situation there? Any acorns still on the ground?

Id suggest getting off the foodplots either way since it doesnt seem to be working. Get your climber and go find some deer

no no, dont get me wrong, I'm going no matter what, I just would rather at least see something even if I cant shoot it, however I need some meat so seeing something I can shoot wold make me a happy camper.

Pre-rut is on right now. Seeing plenty of rubs but full rut isnt usually until mid January. didint see any acorns on the ground, I know we have deer, we're catching plenty on the cameras and plenty of tracks all over the lease.

We do have a hog problem, yotes and wild dogs running the lease so I'm wondering if that may have something to do with it.

that may be what my next plan of attack is going to be. It wont be fun since I'm used to my box stands and buddy heater, but daddy gotta eat
