I think it's more to do with the season opener that's like a bowl game...there is a level of fatigue in the fan base that needs to be taken into consideration...

and the clusterfrick that LSU gameday has become with parking adds to the fatigue factor...

LSU played 8 games away from Baton Rouge in 2011 and sold out every bit of each allotment.

The attendance was an opponent and 3-loss team result.

Add to that the audacity to raise ticket prices and tradition fund. Not about the common fans anymore.
