Might just do a cruise that goes to at least a couple of the islands. Easier to coordinate travel that way. Then next time we know for sure where we want to go and stay awhile.
Any websites better than priceline and the such for cruises? Or are they pretty much all the same?

But then you are stuck on a ship when you could be exploring the islands.

If you go through Carnival, its cheaper to go direct through them than priceline, kayak, etc
And as far as the islands I loved St Maarten and St Thomas. If you or uour loved one are big on diamond jewelry, then St Thomas is the place to get it.
