Long explanation which I was trying to avoid while I'm watching the game.

In some areas one bus will pick up all the kids in that area, elementary, middle school and high school. Those kids go to 3 different schools. The bus will meet other busses at a central point and the HS kids go one way, the MS kids get on another bus and the original bus takes the elementary kids on to their school.

They are not being "bussed" for deseg purposes.

Why the anger?

Never said for deseg purposes, what I said

quote:

return to neighborhood schools instead of bussing kids all over the place

And if your above scenario is correct just shows another huge issue with how EBR is doing things wrong, mixing 18 & 19 year olds with elementary and middle school children, with only the supervision of a bus driver who should be concentrating on the road and not the back seat, as well as having students catch the buss at very early times and not getting home till late, but I guess it is free child care too

Oh and no anger, I live in Ascension and have no kids, just very disappointed to see the state of my old school system, and feel that St George is about the only thing that can fix it
